It’s super straight-forward and just requires an online application submission for Mentees (here) and those seasoned professionals willing to give of their time, Mentors, (here).  Upon completion, Mentees will have access to the Mentor roster and have the opportunity to contact potential matches from there.

It will be the Mentee's responsibility to pro-actively reach out to list Mentors to make connections.

FPALA will merely act as the conduit and allow both parties to use the time as they best see fit.

How It Works
It is a six-month program running April 2023 through September 2023.
Membership is required for both mentors and mentees, and there is no cost to participate.
Matching is done online through both parties submitting an application.  It will be the Mentee's responsibility to pro-actively reach out to list Mentors to make connections.
Mentees are limited to one mentor at a time.
Mentees are expected to set the agenda and drive the relationship.  Mentors just need to be responsive to their requests.
Once the match has been set, Mentees and Mentors are encouraged to have a discovery call to set agenda and overall expectations.  This is to help mentees get clarity on what they want/need out of their mentoring relationship.
Mentees and mentors generally meet once per month via phone or Zoom, although some relationships are in-person.
Mentees complete an exit interview to rate their mentors and the program overall.
